These Original Amazonas Real Brazilian Tarp Baseball caps are full of Character , not like the run of the mill caps you will see in all the stores on the high street, we are all individual so why not reflect that in our clothing ?
These caps and accessories have been made in Brazil by friends of ours, They live in Amazonas on the edge of the rainforest and their family wear these tarp hats day in day out, they are made from recycled tarpaulins from open cargo trucks that run from Amazonas North west to the south of Brazil along thousands of miles of unmade red dust laden tracks with rain, sun & dust aging the material in a way that no factory could ever replicate. After which the material is washed and prepared ready to be made into "probably" the best original Brazilian tarp hats around.
So all of the hats have seen more weather than most of us might see in a lifetime and do not need any looking after and are ready for their next job of keeping the elements off of you whilst looking rather cool at the same time. They are fantastic hats for the garden,trekking,walking on the boat,work you think of an activity and they will make you look and feel cool.
They are waterproof,sunproof,sandproof,in fact do not worry about these hats they will look after themselves and you. All of the hats are individual with no two being the same, some will have repair patches on others will have stamps or writing on , this all adds to their charm and they are as individual as all of us…no mass production here , just individual style!. So now you can get your Brazilian Tarp Baseball cap in the uk at a great price cutting out the middle men and keeping the small shop in Brazil going..
Don‘t forget to add a "SPRINGY" to your order if you use your hat whilst running,riding,boating,skiing, this nifty little addition will make sure you and your hat do not get separated, it just clips on the back of your cap and then when needed just clip on end to your jacket or shirt collar and your hat is secure !

Very pleased with the tarphat cap. Perfect fit but also a really nice rugged hard wearing feel about it. It really does give the feeling that this is a hat that will accompany you on many adventures.

More than happy with my tarphat baseball cap I wear it for every day outdoor activities no matter the weather I feel comfortable and dry .. its so good Ive recommended to friends and Im going to get the wide rim next for my fossil hunting days out and look like the professional archaeologist with a hat I fee confident that can withstand the battering from the coastal weather and sea amazing

I love my cap. Not only is it the first one to fit me properly snd comfortably but also proud to wear the backstory of it. Someone pointed out the marks on it and after i explained they were very impressed.

Fits my big head perfectly - the sizing guide was spot on. Excellent quality and I love the uniqueness of the cap. Overall love the cap and will be buying another soon.For me the one thing that you could improve on is perhaps providing a few options. For example the image of the cap on the website is two-tone but the one I received is just one colour. If given the choice Id have gone for a two-tone cap.

I purchased the cap to compliment the wide brimmed hat I bought years ago. I took it with me on holiday to Lanzarote a couple of weeks ago and the brim was more than enough to keep the sun out of my eyes. It is very comfortable to wear and there is plenty of adjustment in the rear Velcro strap. I have just returned from a long countryside walk around my local area North East England and the cap kept my head nice and toasty all morning.This is now my go-to cap for any occasion. Delivery was swift from the company and the cap arrived well packaged and I wasnt surprised to find some marks on the material as these tarps have been around the block a few times. I am an ex-HGV driver so I know what treatment these tarpaulins get.As with my wide brimmed hat I am sure that this will look even better as it ages with wear.

This is my third tarp hat and have been delighted with all of them. I really like the scruffy roughly made look which is deceptive as all have been extremely strong and hard wearing. The only reason Ive had three of them is that I tend to sweat a lot and after a while the hats begin to stink quite badly. Once the stink has taken hold no amount of washing or sponging gets rid of it and my wife bins them

So .. I bought the hat and loved it and decided to buy a cap as well - I love that too Feels great on - peak provides nice shade and it feels cooler on my head than the caps bought from local high street sellers or online. The caps come with an adjustable Velcro strap and I ordered XXL it fits perfectly without having to adjust the strap at all I had expected a one-size-fits-all type of sizing but Tarp Hats do the quality thing and size the caps to the customer not the customer to the cap. Im very happy with mine - just thinking which type to buy next floppy hat or ventilated cap I might just save on postage and order BOTH as a self-care option Lol Thanks Tarp Hat

I use this hat as a waterproof cover for my Nikon large bridge camera when birding.the cap sits on your head until a shower arrives and you can soon protect the camera with it using the velcro strap to keep it in position.I ordered the wrong size originally and it was replaced without any further postage charge which was a nice touch.John Little.
