These Amazonas Real Brazilian Tarp Baseball caps with print markings are like hens teeth , the marks/writing comes from the print/advertising that was stenciled onto the canvas covering the trucks.
They are made from recycled tarpaulins from open cargo trucks that run from Amazonas North west to the south of Brazil along thousands of miles of unmade red dust laden tracks with rain, sun & dust aging the material in a way that no factory could ever replicate. After which the material is washed and prepared ready to be made into "probably" the best original Brazilian tarp hats around.
So all of the hats have seen more weather than most of us might see in a lifetime and do not need any looking after and are ready for their next job of keeping the elements off of you whilst looking rather cool at the same time. They are fantastic hats for the garden,trekking,walking on the boat,work you think of an activity and they will make you look and feel cool.
They are waterproof,sunproof,sandproof,in fact do not worry about these hats they will look after themselves and you. All of the hats are individual with no two being the same, some will have repair patches on others will have stamps or writing on , this all adds to their charm and they are as individual as all of us…no mass production here , just individual style!. Don‘t forget to add a "SPRINGY" to your order if you use your hat whilst running,riding,boating,skiing, this nifty little addition will make sure you and your hat do not get separated, it just clips on the back of your cap and then when needed just clip on end to your jacket or shirt collar and your hat is secure !

Without sounding bigheaded Ive a physically big head and struggle to find hats that actually fit me. However Tarphats XXL range really do come up trumps on size and are very sturdy hard wearing items. In fact Ive bought three of their baseball caps one to keep in my car one for in my Land Rover and one for the garden garage use. I know I should have shares in the company as Ive also got a couple of their wide brimmed hats....

I really wasnt sure about buying this. A hat made out of old discarded tarpaulins. But I kept looking at them and in the end went for it and am so glad I did.It is really well made comfortable and above all different. I am really pleased with my had and can really recommend them. So unless you are happy to be one of the crowd with your headgear try something different. These are hats that will last a lifetime and will be a talking point with all that see them. Be an individual - get a Tarp hat

I am so in love with the concept of this product each cap ive now received 4 is unique in its own way and the only reason I havent given 5 for manufacturing is because Ive only had one for a month or so and so its early days I hope they last as I do grow attached to my hats.I would like to see an outdoor style vestgillet with lots of pockets made in a similar fashion. Great product Im a fan and will promote in any way I can.

My fourth tarphat and I love it. This one is the baseball cap with the prints on it.Like the other three it Looks great fits even my vast cranium and doesnt make me look Special like most hats do. The drawback is old ladies no longer give me sweets and gently enquire where my carer is but I can live with that.Im after the hold-all next so Ill be pestering the wife at the next opportunity.

This is my 2nd purchase from Tarp Hats.I wanted a good quality and rustic cap for everyday use.As I already own a Tarp Hat which I take all around the world I fully know how good these hats are.I always like the ones with the heavy print on them as it just adds to the charm of the item.I would recommend these products as they wear well and are fantastic value for money and the fit is superb.

I placed my order direct from the website and the baseball cap arrived within a couple of days excellent. The look and feel of the material is great definitely prefer this to a generic branded sports hat. Downside for me1 there wasnt the little Brazil flag stitched on above the peak as per the picture on the website2

Well placed an order through Amazon on Friday. And its now arrived 4 days later on the Tuesday. So very fast considering that was through the weekend too. First impressions I thought how cld there be a hat in that flat envelope ha ha but there was and is not been off my head since I opened the parcel. Easy to shape easy to wear. Very light and comfortable. Looks solidly made and cant decide now if this will be a work hat or a casual everyday hat. Texture look of the material is perfect. I bought the Baseball cap this time around but will definately be back for the safari style hat. Love it thanks.
